Amendment of the insurance Code

The insurance Code will, henceforth, prohibit insurers from renewing a contract when the premium is not paid. The motor, health and goods in transit insurance will be exempted from this rule provided that the premium exceeds 80 time the minimum wage. This amendment comes following a recent decision taken by the CIMA zone cabinet meeting.
