Tahar Bala, former CEO of GIG Algeria, passes away

Tahar Bala, former Chief Executive Officer of Algérienne des Assurances (2A), now GIG Algeria, has passed away.

A well-known figure in the insurance industry, Mr. Bala devoted his entire career to the sector, holding several senior positions at MAATEC, CAAR, CAAT, and Trust. He joined 2A in April 2001.

The deceased was also a member of the National Insurance Council (CNA).
