Shawn Kriedemann has been promoted to Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) at SanlamAllianz Re, effective 1 January 2026.
With 35 years of industry experience, Mr. Kriedemann has held senior positions at several insurance companies across Africa and Europe.
He joined SanlamAllianz Re in 2023 as Treaty Manager.
The new CUO is a graduate of the Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the United Kingdom.
