GIG Bahrain appoints Mohamed Salah AlMaraj as new General Manager for Bahrain operations

Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company (GIG Bahrain) has appointed Mohamed Salah AlMaraj as General Manager for its Bahrain operations, effective 1 January 2026.

A graduate of Newcastle University and the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK), Mr. AlMaraj brings more than 10 years of experience in the insurance industry. He joined Bahrain National Insurance (BNI) in 2013, where he held several senior leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer (COO). On 4 June 2025, he was appointed COO of GIG Bahrain.
