Zurich tempted by the Saudi market

Zurich Insurance has reiterated its willingness to get established in Saudi Arabia. The Swiss insurer, which is studying different options hopes to finalise this project before the end of the year. Because of the reluctance of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) in granting new licenses, Zurich announced 18 months ago its intention to go for the acquisition option.
