Zurich Takaful is about to obtain operating license in the Emirates

The Dubai Financial Service Authority (DFSA) is on the verge of granting license to Zurich Takaful. The insurer's application was filed at the end of 2008. Zurich Takaful is owned at 51% by Zurich Financial, while the remaining capital belongs to Abu Dhabi National Takaful. The new company is going to start operations by offering life insurance products.
