ZIMRE seeking partners in Nigeria

Albert Nduna, CEO of ZIMRE Holdings Ltd. (ZHL), has announced the wish of the Zimbabwean group to expand its insurance operations in Nigeria.

ZIMRE, which studies partnerships possibilities, says it is ready to invest several million dollars (USD) to have an impact on the local market.

The Nigerian market recorded premiums amounting to 1.8 billion USD in 2013 (+15% compared to 2012) with a penetration rate of 0.5%.
