Yahoo fined 335 000 USD

In 2014, the global messaging service provider had suffered a major cyber attack, causing the hacking of 500 million accounts and the violation of personal information (names, addresses, passwords, etc.).

In April 2018, the Yahoo group was already fined 35 million USD by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for failing to disclose the 2014 cyber attack.
