Virgin Atlantic launches a Covid-19 coverage

In collaboration with Allianz, the British airline Virgin Atlantic is offering free Covid-19 insurance to its passengers.

Capped at 554 000 EUR (657 000 USD), the coverage includes medical bills as well as accommodation or repatriation expenses for passengers suffering from the disease.

The insurance policy also provides a coverage of up to 3 900 USD in case a passenger is denied boarding due to contamination, or has to be quarantined during a trip.

This offer is valid until 31 March 2021.
