The Vietnamese life insurance market is evolving

In 2016, the Vietnamese life insurance market posted 2.36 trillion VND (105.2 million USD) in pre-tax profits. The life insurance market’s turnover amounted to 50.37 trillion VND (2.24 billion USD).

Out of the 17 life insurers operational on the market, ten have reported positive results. The players having posted the highest profits are namely Prudential, Bao Viet Life and Manulife.
