The Central Bank (SAMA) has issued a circular requiring motor insurers in Saudi Arabia to include value added tax (VAT) in the repair fees of a damaged vehicle.
This decision comes in response to the failure of some insurance companies to pay VAT when settling a motor third party liability claim.
