United Arab Emirates, the third takaful insurance market

According to Ernst and Young, takaful insurance should account for 12 billion USD of total premiums in 2011, that is, a 31% growth in comparison with 2009.
With a premiums volume of 640 million USD in 2009, the United Arab Emirates is ranking third behind Saudi Arabia (3.86 billion USD) and Indonesia (1.15 billion USD).
