Union Assurance offers free Covid-19 coverage

Union Assurance, a Sri Lankan life insurance company, offered a free Covid-19 coverage for its current and new underwriters.

The insurance includes a death cover of up to 5 418 USD per insured, valid from 2 November 2020 to 1 December 2020. The company's objective is to enable the people of Sri Lanka to secure the future of their families.

During quarantine, the insurer also covered Covid-19 hospitalization fees.
