UK Insurance Market: gender inequality

According to the London Market Group (LMG), the UK insurance market remains largely dominated by men.

Despite the progress made in recent years, one third of insurers have no women in their management bodies. In 18% of companies, there is only one woman out of ten men.

In addition, the premiums collected by men are on average seven times higher than those allocated to women.
