The Ugandan insurer PWIC cedes part of its capital

The Ugandan Pan World Insurance Company yielded part of its stake to the Zimbabwean investor group TA Holdings. Zimnat Lion (entity of TA Holdings) could be entrusted with the company management.
The agreement is reached soon after the acquisition of 59.38% of a second east African company's shares, Botswana Insurance Company Limited (BICL), Botswana's leading non-life insurer, and the transfer of its management to Zimnat Lion for a 10-year period.
