Uganda Re: 2021 results

Uganda Reinsurance Company (Uganda Re) is closing the 2021 financial year with a turnover of 61.475 billion UGX (17.28 million USD) against the 61.385 billion UGX (16.77 million USD) posted as at 31 December 2020.

The annual net result of 5.5 billion UGX (1.55 million USD) dropped by 16.7% compared to the 6.6 billion UGX (1.8 million USD) recorded at the end of 2020.

The investment income increased by 8.6% to stand at 7.131 billion UGX (2 million USD) at the end of 2021.
