UAE: Unified database to monitor the insurance sector's nationalization program

The Insurance Authority of the United Arab Emirates has established a unified database of information on employees in the insurance sector. The electronic platform will provide instant reports on the progress of the insurance sector's nationalization (Emiratization) program.

This initiative is coupled with free insurance training for nationals. UAE authorities hope to raise the national labor force rate from 10% in 2017 to 17% by 2020.
