UAE: Unification of car insurance rates

A new car pricing will enter into force in the United Arab Emirates as of January 1, 2017.

The new regulations, which have been decreed by the Insurance Authority, require the unification of motor insurance rates (third party liability and other optional guarantees).

Tariffs in this class of business will henceforth be between 750 AED (204 USD) and 2 100 AED (572 USD), depending on the power of the vehicles.
