UAE listed insurers: Q1 2021 results

Badri Management Consultancy (BMC) reports that the turnover achieved by the 29 listed Emirati insurers, reached 8.9 billion AED (2.42 billion USD) in Q1 2021. The premiums rose by 1% compared to the same period in 2020.

The net profit generated by insurers stood at 681 million AED (185.37 million USD) compared to 387 million AED (105.327 million USD) in Q1 2020, which represents an increase of 76% over one year.
