UAE : Emirati insurers invested 10.9 billion USD in 2016

The turnover generated by all local insurers amounted to 44 billion AED (12 billion USD) by the end of 2016. One year before, the latter was set at 37 billion AED (10 billion USD).

The Emirati insurance market is regarded as the biggest one in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and in the Arab world.
