Trust Re has given up the idea of establishing a Takaful company in Labuan

Fadi Abu Nahl, Trust Reinsurance's CEO, has confirmed they have given up the project of establishing a takaful Re subsidiary in the federal province of Labuan in Malaysia. This decision is due to the administrative constraints imposed by the authorities. Trust Re does not rule out the possibility to set up branches in the future in both Africa and Asia for its traditional operations.
