A Fokker 50 of the Iranian Kish Airways company with 46 passengers on board crashed in Sharjah on February 10, 2004, claiming the lives of 43 passengers including crew members. The plane, which set out from the tousistic island of Kish in Iran, crashed as it was about to land.
