Dennis:Insurance companies have estimated the damage caused by the cyclone Dennis to amount to 900 million USD spread out as follows: Florida: 640 million USD, Alabama: 115 million USD, Georgia: 85 million USD, Mississippi: 60 million USD.

Katrina:The toll of the damage caused by the hurricane Katrina is on a continuous rise. According to recent estimates, economic losses would amount to about 200 billion USD .

Rita:Less devastating than initially expected, the cyclone Rita has nonetheless caused damages estimated at about 6 billion USD in the southern states of the United States.
