Three insurers controlled 44% of motor insurance in Kuwait in 2017

In Kuwait, three insurance companies "Aman Takaful", "Dar Al Salam" and "Ghazal" have underwritten 44% of the motor third party liability insurance policies whose number amounts to 1.2 million contracts.

During 2017, the 39 insurers operating on the Kuwaiti market reported 435 million KWD (1.44 billion USD) of premiums, against 347 million KWD (1.13 billion USD) in 2016, that is an increase of 25.3%.
