Thai Life Insurance raises 1 billion USD on the stock exchange

Thai Life Insurance is raising 37.1 billion THB (1 billion USD) through an initial public offering.

The Thai insurer and its two main shareholders are selling 2.32 billion shares at a price of 16 THB (0.4 USD) each. Thai Life's securities trading started on 25 July 2022.

This is the largest IPO in the country since May 2021.
