Test of a driverless taxis service

Waymo, a subsidiary of Google specializing in smart cars and Trov, a start-up that provides insurance innovative products, are considering the testing of an autonomous taxis service.

The technical experience will be completed by a new insurance product which consists in providing insurance "on demand" allowing passengers to activate instantly, via their smartphone, a cover during their trip.

Once the trip is completed, the passengers deactivate the guarantee. The tests will take place in 2018 in the city of Phoenix, Arizona.
