Telecel, insurance for low-income people

Zimbabwe’s second mobile operator Telecel is launching new insurance products designed for its customers.
For a fee of less than 0.5 USD a month, customers of Telecel benefit from health insurance (20 USD per day of hospitalization with a maximum of 30 days), funerals (up 250 USD) and travel.
This triple coverage, designed by the operator for low-income populations and distributed through mobile phones, is unique on the market.
