Tawuniya: results for 2021

Company for Cooperative Insurance (Tawuniya) closed the year 2021 with a 12.7% turnover increase. The written premiums increased from 9.061 billion SAR (2.4 billion USD) as of 31 December 2020 to 10.218 billion SAR (2.8 billion USD) one year later.

The net profit before zakat (tax) amounted to 350.138 million SAR (93.2 million USD), decreasing by 31.94% compared to 2020.

The incurred losses increased by 21.3% to reach 6.66 billion SAR (1.7 billion USD) in 2021 against 5.49 billion SAR (1.46 billion USD) in 2020.
