For the first half of 2022, the Saudi insurer Tawuniya (Company for Cooperative Insurance) has recorded a 6.729 billion SAR (1.8 billion USD) turnover, representing a 29.78% increase compared to the 5.185 billion SAR (1.4 billion USD) posted during the same period of 2021.
Net profit before zakat improved by 2.21% from 246.748 million SAR (65.7 million USD) as at 30 June 2021 to 252.191 million SAR (67.1 million USD) a year later.
During the period under review, the incurred losses totaled 3.877 billion SAR (1.03 billion USD) against 3.187 billion SAR (848.68 million USD) in the first half of 2021.
