Tariffs expected in 2009

The French Insurance Association (FFSA) is expecting motor tariffs to be stable or slightly decreasing in 2009. However, homeowner's risks will be revised upwards.
The stability of motor premiums is accounted for by the decrease in the number of road accidents while the rise of claims and raw material prices as well as the construction costs are behind the swelling rates of homeowner's risks.
