Talks between general agents and the federation of insurance companies

Talks between the national union of insurance general agents (SNAGAT) and the Tunisian federation of insurance companies (FTUSA) started in October 19, 2011. They are designed to update the 1993 standard mandate governing relations between FTUSA and SNAGAT and to reach consensus prior to March 2012. If no agreement is found, recourse to arbitration by the supervisory authority may be envisaged. Approximately 800 general agents are censed in Tunisia.
