Swiss Re inaugurates its regional head office in Singapore

Swiss Re inaugurated its regional headquarters in Singapore on January 31, 2018. The new entity will be coordinating Asian operations of the Swiss reinsurer. It will be chaired by Lim Siong Guan, former president of GIC group (Government of Singapore Investment Corporation).

It is noteworthy that the Asian market generates one third of the underwritings of the world’s number one reinsurer which has subsidiaries in China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, South Korea and Malaysia.
