Swan takes control of Medscheme

The Mauritian insurer Swan has announced the acquisition of a 51% stake in the company Medscheme. The latter has been providing a wide range of management services that are adapted to medical insurance and pension funds.

The deal shall be submitted to the Mauritian competition commission (CCM) for prior approval. If approved, this acquisition will enable Swan Insurance to consolidate its services and facilitate its expansion strategy in Africa.
