Sukoon to acquire a majority stake in Ascana

Sukoon has acquired 93% of the capital of Arabian Scandinavian Insurance - Takaful (Ascana).

The transaction will allow Sukoon to consolidate its position in the GCC zone, notably in the United Arab Emirates, and to make its entry into the takaful market.

The transaction is still pending the approval of the relevant authorities.
