Strategic partnership between AMI Assurances and SOMPO Japan Insurance

On the sidelines of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 8), held on 27 and 28 August 2022 in Tunis, AMI Assurances signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Japanese insurer SOMPO Japan Insurance.

Under the terms of the agreement, AMI Assurances will provide insurance coverage to Japanese companies operating in Tunisia. The Tunisian insurer has been working closely with SOMPO Japan for several months to develop insurance solutions tailored to the needs of Japanese customers.

This partnership will also enable Tunisia to position itself as a regional platform for the Japanese insurer. For the record, SOMPO Japan is already established in South Africa through its Johannesburg office.
