Sierra Leone joins the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit

The Republic of Sierra Leone has officially become the 51^st member of the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC), the credit and export insurance arm of the Islamic Development Bank Group (Saudi Arabia).

This membership aligns with Sierra Leone's strategic goal to strengthen its international trade and investment relations.

As a member, the country will now have access to ICIEC’s insurance and reinsurance services, designed to support exports, attract foreign direct investment, and provide protection against political and commercial risks.
