Setting up of a centralized system of accident reports

A centralised network will enable Ras Al Khaimah Emirate's insurance companies (RAK) to obtain from motor insurance department the accident reports filed by the police authorities on the spot. This measure will come to full realisation through premium cuts as low as 30%. In a bid to face mounting road hazards, local underwriters clashed with the authorities by refraining from covering bad drivers or increasing tariffs.
