Sergio P. Ermotti to leave Swiss Re

Sergio P. Ermotti, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Swiss Re, will step down at the end of the company's Annual General Meeting scheduled for 12 April 2023. His resignation is motivated by his appointment as CEO of UBS Bank. S. P. Ermotti now wishes to dedicate himself fully to his new role.

Swiss Re's Board of Directors is currently looking for a successor to the resigning Chairman. In the meantime, Jacques de Vaucleroy will act as interim Chairman.
