Sergio P. Ermotti, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Swiss Re

The Board of Directors of Swiss Re has appointed Sergio P. Ermotti to succeed Walter B. Kielholz as the group’s Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Swiss Re also granted the title of Honorary Chairman to Walter B. Kielholz in recognition of his services to the company.

In addition to the promotion of S. P. Ermotti, Renato Fassbind has been re-elected Vice Chairman and independent director of the reinsurer's Board of Directors.
