The second Saudi insurance summit

With approximately 30 participants, the second Saudi insurance summit, held in October 30, 2007 in Jeddah, has allowed to take stock of the market which is undergoing a reshape.
The gross premium volume has reached 1.8 billion USD in 2006 against 1.3 billion USD in 2005. So far, 18 companies have been granted license whereas 24 others are underway. This process is likely to end in March 2008.
