SCOR Brasil Re, "local reinsurer"

SCOR Brasil Re, the new entity created by the French reinsurer in Brazil, has obtained the status of "local reinsurer", from regulatory authorities of the country.

With a capital of 100 million BRL (44.6 million USD), SCOR Brasil Re will operate on life and non-life segments from its headquarter in Rio de Janeiro and its subsidiary in Sao Paulo.
