Sava Re lays hand on Energoprojekt Garant

Sava Re (Slovenia) has acquired a 93% stake in the capital of Serbian insurer Energoprojekt Garant, a company specialized in risks of construction and third party liability belonging to the group Energoprojekt Holding.

Following this move, already approved by Serbian Central Bank, the Slovenian reinsurer will proceed to the merger of the acquired company with its Serbian subsidiary Sava neživotno osiguranje, based in Belgrade. The transaction’s amount has not been disclosed.
