Saudi insurers listed on the stock exchange: results 2021

The insurers listed on the Saudi Tadawul stock exchange recorded a net loss of 45 million SAR (12 million USD) in 2021 compared to a net profit of 1.4 billion SAR (372.82 million USD) in 2020.

Out of the 28 listed insurance companies, 11 companies made profits while 17 others incurred losses.

The turnover 2021 achieved by all Saudi listed insurance companies stood at 41.68 billion SAR (11.1 billion USD), which represents an increase of 9.7% compared to 38 billion SAR (10.1 billion USD) recorded one year before.

Bupa Arabia and Tawuniya alone accounted for nearly 52% of the total inflows, thus reaching 21.6 billion SAR (5.75 billion USD).
