Sanlam soon operational in four new African countries

Sanlam, second insurer in South Africa, intends to get established in Angola, Zimbabwe, Rwanda and Ethiopia by 2014. The group is in talks with potential partners and local authorities. Sanlam’s preferred solution consists in the acquisition of stake in an existing insurer or in the establishment of partnerships. Sanlam has been longing to strengthen its presence in East Africa where it is already present in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.
