Sanlam and MMI Holdings included in Forbes rankings of world's largest companies

The US magazine Forbes has published its 2017 ranking of the 2000 largest global companies. With ten companies in this ranking, South Africa leads the continent with the largest number of large companies. Two South African insurers are on the list: Sanlam and MMI Holdings.

The Forbes study is based on four main criteria: turnover, assets, operating result and market capitalization.
