Salama 2018: turnover increase, net profit decrease

The Emirati group Salama closes the year 2018 with a turnover of 1.062 billion AED (289.411 million USD) increasing by 31.55% over one year.

Despite this premium growth, the net profit decreased by 98.72% closing the year 2018 at 0.477 million AED (129 872 USD) compared to 37.509 million AED (10.212 million USD) in 2017.

Such a fall is due to a plunge in the financial products which recorded 62.088 million AED (16.905 million USD) in 2017 only to fall at 18.171 million AED (4.947 million USD) in 2018.
