The results of the insurance companies are declining

The 2009's preliminary results of the 24 companies among the 27 operating in the Kingdom have sustained a 71% decrease of their net results with 4.11 million JOD (5.84 million USD) versus 14 million JOD (19.96 million USD) in 2008. The number one company on the market, Orient (former AOIC), reported a turnover of 44.6 million JOD in 2009 (63.3 million USD), that is, a progression of 38%.
