Resignation of Mehmet Akif Eroglu, Chairman of the Turkish Insurance Supervisory Authority

Mehmet Akif Eroglu is stepping down as Chairman of the Turkish Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Authority (SEDDK).

Davut Mentes, Deputy Chairman of the SEDDK, will act as Interim Chairman until a new one is appointed.

Mehmet Akif Eroglu was appointed Chairman of the SEDDK in July 2022, having previously served as Deputy General Manager, in charge of budget, communication and support services.
