Republic of Congo: ARC has a new CEO

The ministerial cabinet of January 28, 2016 nominated Parfait Chrisosthome Makita to the position of chief executive officer of the Assurances et Réassurances du Congo (ARC). No official comment ensued with regard to this appointment.

The newly promoted officer, the company’s former executive, is taking over Wilfrid Albert Ossié who had been in that position since 2009, the year when the company’s interim administration came to an end. ARC is Congo’s most important insurer.
