Munich Re has announced an upcoming restructuring of its marine and facultative business, a move designed to strengthen the competitiveness and ensure better monitoring of international customers.
The management of marine insurance will be under the authority of the special and financial risks entity. Facultative reinsurance services will be divided into four regional areas, with changes expected to materialize by the end of 2014.
